Here is a primer on what your airline policy, your rights as a passenger and other important things that you must know if your flight is canceled due to bad weather. We’ve listed below the major airlines in the Philippines!

Flight Cancellation Policies of PH Airlines When Bad Weather Strikes

Passengers on canceled flights will be re-accommodated in the soonest available flights. Affected passengers may opt to rebook their flights within 30 days from original departure date; request for travel fund or a refund without any charges. Air Asia Philippines

In the event of flight cancellation, affected passengers will be carried at the earliest opportunity on another of their scheduled services on which space is available without additional charge and, where necessary, extend the validity of their bookings; or if they choose to travel at another time, the value of their fare will be retained in a credit account for their future travel provided that they must rebook within three (3) months therefrom. Tiger Air Philippines

In the event that passenger’s flight is cancelled, they will be rescheduled on the next available Tigerair flight, FREE of charge. However, Tigerair does not compensate, reimburse or provide tickets for travel on other airlines and takes no responsibility whatsoever should a cancellation cause a passenger to miss a connection to another flight. Philippine Airlines

Affected passengers will be advised to rebook their flights at any PAL/PALex ticketing office within 30 days from original flight date. Rebooking penalties shall be waived. For more information, you may visit their Flight Advisory Page.
